2011: GMG Yepp Mini
Short after the Yepp Maxi was launched the Yepp Mini came on the market. Thanks to it’s compact size his looks are even more convincing then the Maxi. The comfortable seat made of EVA foam makes this child seat also a winner compared to it’s competitors.

2011: VDL Bus & Coach Citea
With the Citea Low Floor public transport bus, VDL Bus & Coach has won the prestigious international ‘Bus of the Year 2011’ award. During the 'Bus Euro Test 2010' in the Romanian capital Bucharest, the city bus from the Netherlands scored better than its strong international rivals. The members of the jury paid particular attention to the practical usability, the finish, the concept and the efficiency of the participating vehicles.

2011: VDL Bus & Coach Futura
VDL Bus & Coach beat the tough competition and has been awarded the prestigious title ‘International Coach of the Year 2012’. During the ‘Coach Euro Test 2011’, held in Norway, the Futura was chosen as the winner from a field of strong competitors. The members of the jury based their decision primarily on the total concept of the participating coaches, with special focus on practical usability, fit and finish, and efficiency.

2011: GoCab
This specially designed cargo bike with electric support, where children can be transported safe and dry by day care organisations, won a prestigious Eurobike award and got a GIO recognition with a special award in the category Respect.

2011: Gazelle Eclipse
This city bike is by the jury declard as the winner of the bike of the year 2011. The excellent driving dynamics combined with the very nice design that in detail has been implemented on this bike makes it a winner. “We have as many nuts and bolts removed to give the bike a clean look. Also, we gave this limited edition nice red and orange accents.” Said Hugo Velthuis, Product Manager at Gazelle.

2010: Yepp Maxi
The Yepp Maxi is unique because of it’s looks and the comfortable material of the seat which is made of EVA foam, known from the Crocs shoes. Van der Veer designers was involved in the complete development process from design sketch till the start of production. The German Design Award is is bestowed by the German Design Council, one of the world's leading competence centres for communication and know-how transfer in the design field. Only works that are both pioneering and marketable, and indeed have already proved that they are fit for market, are short-listed.

ATAG We advise Etna and Pelgrim, two brands from the ATAG Nederland group. We design products and product graphics and we give advice on styling and trends.
Brabantia logo household products
Brabantia Restyle the Obelisk ironing boards: this was our initial commission from Brabantia. Then we collaborated in the design of two clothes drying racks. The major challenge faced at Brabantia is creating a simple design for both the consumer and manufacturer.
DAF logo vehicles and trucks
DAF DAF Trucks: a serious player in the transport market. A position earned by always listening closely to clients and truck drivers, learning from them, and consistently applying that knowledge in design development. Van der Veer Designers is proud of their role in the development of DAF Trucks.

Fatboy Our collaboration with Fatboy is still quite recent. Fatboy gives us complete freedom to come up with truly surprising ideas. Gazelle Gazelle is one of our very first clients. To this day, our collaboration together continues to be close. Once a year we style their entire bicycle collection. From colours and graphic designs on the frame to all the components and accessories, we create a attractive and cohesive look. We also cooperate with Gazelle’s Product Development Department in designing bicycle components, from frames to rear lights, and sometimes an entire bicycle!
Gispen logo furnishers
Gispen In 2005 we vied for a new project with Gispen. They chose us to team up with designer Peter de Boer to design a new line of tables. This resulted in a close collaboration with Gispen. In November 2007 Gispen successfully introduced Gispen Atlas. Later we added to the series the sit/stand adjustable table, the duo-workstation and the ClubDesk.

GMG In 2006 former designer Michel Krechting took over the company GMG, Gebroeders Melkert Gouda. At the end of 2007 he approached us to work together in the development of an entirely new line of child bicycle seats and accessories. In doing so, he and Ruud Melkert breathed new life into GMG. GMG is a particularly enthusiastic client with a clear vision. GMG thinks together with us, is engaged and positive. Van der Veer Designers and GMG share the notion of going above and beyond and taking products a step further.

New Looxs logo
New Looxs (Burgers Lederwaren) In 2003, Frans Burgers approached us asking for a new design for a bicycle mounted basket holder. Shortly thereafter, we created a new appearance for the New Looxs logo. From that moment on, the collaboration was fortified. Annelies den Besten designs new bicycle pannier bags for New Look throughout the year. Frans Burgers and his daughter (who has been involved in the business since 2008) are wonderful clients.
Quinny logo design strollers
Quinny (Dorel) We are all familiar with Quinny strollers and Maxi Cosi car seats. We designed the Quinny Zapp, Quinny Buzz, Quinny Senzz and Maxi Cosi Mura for these brands. Excellent products created in an exceptionally enjoyable collaboration with Quinny.

VDL bus&coach The bus building division of the VDL Group. The revision of the corporate strategy led them to visit van der Veer Designers. The individual bus companies (BOVA, Berkhof, Jonckheere, etc.) will continue from now on under the brand "VDL". "Van der Veer Designers created the new logo and developed the new visual identity of the products for the brand: A prestigious undertaking.
AXA logo
AXA (Stenman Holland) The collaboration between Van der Veer Designers and Stenman Holland dates back to 1988. In 1992 Van der Veer Designers was commissioned to help design the new AXA safety lock. Together, we developed a new generation of locks: the SL 7 and the SL 9. Since then, we have developed bicycle parts such as locks, lights and dynamos. Stenman Holland also brings on Van der Veer Designers in the design of hardware such as window locks, bearing locks and door handles with accompanying back plates.

Apeldoorn logo
Municipality of Apeldoorn The municipality of Apeldoorn really wants to encourage cycling. The municipality asked Van der Veer Designers to conduct a feasibility analysis into an elevated human powered monorail above the Berg en Bos Park, where the renowned Apenheul Primate Park is located. Additionally, October 2009 marked the start of a pilot project involving bicycle carts used at one of the Albert Heijn grocery stores in the municipality of Apeldoorn. The carts are produced through Gazelle and designed by Van der Veer Designers. This pilot project is partially financed by the municipality of Apeldoorn.
Key Processor logo
Key Processor Keyprocessor provides solutions for accessibility, intrusion detection, camera surveillance and personal security. Van der Veer Designers designed and developed the housing for devices that read access cards, badges and fingerprints for Keyprocessor.

VDL group A conglomerate of 80 companies in the metal processing sector.

You's (Eurovisie) Eurovisie is the parent company of the eyeglasses brands You’S and Youpi. Van der Veer Designers assists the product manager at Eurovisie twice a year in updating the collection. Van der Veer Designers is also responsible for the look of the You’S and Youpi brands, and also designs the new trade show stands and advertising posters.
Albert Heijn logo
Albert Heijn Together with Andries Gaastra we approached Albert Heijn with the iShop: a combination bicycle-trailer/shopping-cart. Albert Heijn tested the iShop in an outlet in the south of Aperdoorn. Currently, production and sales of the iShop are being prepared.
Freewiel logo
Freewiel Tricycles and wheelchair-carrying scooters are typical products of Freewieltechniek. For many years already we have been working together with this client to develop new products and to improve upon existing models.
Hema logo
Hema Hema wants to increasingly distinguish itself through "true Hema design". Using this as a framework we have recently started working on some projects, of which we expect to start reaching Hema stores by the second half of 2011.
Hermeta logo
Hermeta Our first project for Frank Willemen’s Hermeta (General Director since 2008) was to design a new logo. Afterwards we collaborated on the Gardelux Allure and Colorline line series of wardrobes as well as a number of small projects for hooks and accessories. Our most recent project working with Hermeta was the design of the Gardelux Gear coat stand and the Gardelux Dock hanging wardrobe. Designing wardrobes gives us the chance to employ all the in-house creativity we have. The result: contemporary products that are simultaneously timeless and products that integrate well with a trend-setting company such as Hermeta.
Highway Hawk logo
Highway Hawk (Motolux Development B.V) Under the Highway Hawk brand, Motolux Development B.V. develops and manufactures a broad range of motorcycle accessories. Many products are made for specific brands under licensing for firms such as Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda. Highway Hawk wants to present itself as a company that places product development as a priority. In the context of this aim, Highway Hawk asked Van der Veer Designers to develop a new motorcycle mirror.

Life & Mobility Life & Mobility (former know as Revab) is one of the trend-setting developers and manufacturers of wheelchairs in the Dutch market. Van der Veer Designers has developed several wheelchairs for Revab: the Axi nesting wheelchair and the Mixx universal wheelchair in the nineties and the Dexx office wheelchair in 2003.
Nakoi logo SQRL Skatebike
Nakoi Nakoi is a partnership between Van der Veer Designers and Dick Quint. Through the Nakoi brand, we place products on the market that are self-initiated projects which we designed ourselves; the SQRL skatebike being a prime example. Van der Veer Designers is responsible for creating the design and provides graphic assistance. Dick Quint establishes the contacts and puts the product on the market.
Widek logo bicycle parts
Widek Widek manufactures and sells large quantities of bells, skirt guards and handgrips for bicycles. The company has grown considerably over the past few years and is continually working on developing new products. Van der Veer Designers regularly collaborates on these developments.

Huka Huka produces mobile rehabilitation products varying from tricycles, wheelchair bicycle, a wheelchair scooter to an electrical wheelchair and shower wheelchairs. In the past we worked real closely with Freewhiel technic who have been taken over by Huka in 2008.

SABIC's Innovative Plastics business 'Innovative Plastics' is a world leader in providing engineering solutions in thermoplastic material, working around the globe and around the clock. We support Innovative Plastics' design department with designing and visualizing applications for their materials.

Scanton Scanton is a specialist in parking solutions and therefore they develop high quality and consumer friendly parking solutions. For Scanton we designed a parking payment line consisting of a paying terminal, an in- and out driving terminal and a barrier.

Schreuders Sport Schreuders Sport is a wholesaler in sport and leisure products. We designed a beach chair, snow shovel, anti-slip shoe and a sled for them.

Talen Tools Talen Tools is a producer and supplier of tools for farmers, construction workers and gardeners. For Talen Tools we made styling proposals for a garden tool set.

Van Raam Van Raam produces uniquely special needs bicycles and makes people mobile. Since the co-operation in the development of the GoCab we now of and on work on re-styling work for their bicycles and design new mobile products for them.
BoldGolf logo golfbag styling and design
Bold Golf Founder of a greenhouse business and an avid golfer, Piet Bom approached us in 2008 with an idea for a golf bag. His experience with technical solutions in the greenhouse sector, his commercial mind-set and his passion for golf were the starting points. He introduced us to the golfing world and quickly showed himself to be a very driven and enthusiastic client, full of ideas and plans. Following intensive collaboration, his idea resulted in a project that combines form and function.
